The chest is not completely worked out by doing push-ups alone. There are multiple parts to the chest and they include the upper, lower, middle, inner and outer sections of the chest. The best chest workout routine will hit all of these parts individually. Manboobs are a result of not having enough muscle on the chest in right places, but we will look at some of the best chest tightening exercises here.
If you don’t currently workout then you can start simple with the common push-up. A proper push-up should be performed as follows. Keep you body straight throughout the whole movement. Put your hands a tiny bit wider than shoulder width apart (hand position may vary depending on which part of the chest you want to target). Go all the way down until you nose is an inch from the ground and then push yourself back up until your arms are straight. You do not need to lock your arm out at the top of the push-up. A normal push-up will work the middle chest the best. To work the upper chest you will need to have you feet elevated higher than the rest of your body. This makes the exercise harder but doing an upper chest workout will help raise the chest as it tightens the muscles.
