Best Lower Chest Exercises

Monday, October 19th, 2009

The best lower chest exercises are limited because of the angle that you have to be in to target the muscles of the lower chest. Many people are unhappy with the appearance of their chest and want to change it.

What you think might be the best chest workout routine for your body might not be exactly what you need to look better. Chest exercises for men need to focus on building mass while shaping the chest correctly. The lower chest is the easiest and fastest to build mass.

You need to make sure that you are not doing a lower chest workout every time that you workout your pecs. A pec workout has to be balanced to develop a well shaped chest. You need to focus more on the upper pecs than the lower because they are much more difficult to develop.

The best exercise for the lower chest is the decline bench press. You can lift much more weight when you are at a decline so you will need to adjust the weight accordingly.

Chest Exercises for Women

Most women don’t realize that doing chest workouts will help them get a better looking chest by lifting and firming the breasts. Chest exercises for women closely resemble the workouts that a man would do but with less weight.

If you are looking for chest exercises you can do at home without weights you have a lot of options. If you are not strong enough to do push-ups yet, you can simply do wall push-ups. Put your hands shoulder width apart on the wall with your feet a couple feet away from the wall. You will then mimic a push-up but it will be much easier because you won’t have gravity fighting against you.

When wall push-ups become too easy find a counter top or back of the couch where you can do push-ups. This will be slightly harder but will work the chest even more.

Tightening up the muscles of the chest will produce more firmness in the breasts and will lift your breasts the more you train your upper chest. Now don’t think that you will look completely different, the lift here will be very minimal and you will see it more if you have smaller breasts.
